Houston Gyal

That's right, kids: I'm in Appalachia no longer.

I have returned to the big city and DAMN does it feel good to be back.  It's so great to hear Spanish again, not to mention seeing multitude of black, Latino, Asian faces wherever the hell I go.  Already I've begun to chillax, de-stress, and plot my next hairdo.  And shopping trip...LAWD I can't wait to go shopping here.

And dating, I suppose.  It would be nice to sample all that Houston has to offer.  Last time I was here, I was never disappointed.

Are there any fellow Houstonians in attendance?

  1. I seriously need to visit Houston. I've heard so many wonderful things. And I have been craving another cowboy and I've been curious to learn if everything really is bigger in Texas. LOL.

I know Moni Roberts of TransGriot is back in Houston.

You oughta look her up and kick it with her.

  2. Aww. Whenever you used to mention Appalachia I would think of Clarice Starling. Have fun in Houston, though : ) I've never been out west/south.
One of my roommates is from... Austin, so I guess I don't have much to say/offer. The rest of us are Northeasterners...

My sister visted Houston once. She took a picture of the old Enron building there.

  7. Hello. I'm a semi long time reader, first time commenter. We moved back to Houston several years ago, so let me welcome you back. So much has changed yet so much remains the same. It'll be good for Houston to have you here.

  8. My Aunt lives in Houston so maybe I should come visit! I was just in Detroit for a day and a half and it was nice. I love the land in Northern Michigan but its sure nice to get a city fix.

  11. Well, you know at some point I'll be visiting. The last time I was in Houston, I had a blast. Every single restaurant I went to had absolutely fabulous food, so be mindful of gaining weight.

Think there's a chance of finding Gummi Bear Martinis?
