We might not be able to do anything about your skin color, “that wasn’t your fault” as Archie Bunker suggests. But you could stand to lose a few pounds. Unless of course you're cast as the overweight, a-sexual… sassy sidekick typical of mainstream movies and sitcoms; then you're perfect for the part.

I agree. Tyler has a knack for casting actors that look like us... normal black people. Not some exotic fair-skinned template for color-shy white audiences; but real-life representations of black folk. The average American woman wears a size 14. An archetype that's very hard to find in white science fiction or romantic comedy.
