Why the fuck do we continue to let that piece of shit milk celebrity status from being a murderer?

  1. Expect a blog post on this soon, mostly likely on Rippa's blog.

Because those who control the narrative allow it. I wonder how agreeable white America would be if say, Adam Lanza were alive to participate in a similar charity event, or Timothy McVeigh perhaps.

I grew up watching a parade of amateurs seeking fame on television. Ted Mack’s amateur hour - The Ed Sullivan Show, even The Gong Show was popular for its time. Avenues where an average citizen could become famous if just for 15 minutes. Then came Star Search, where all one needed was the tenacity to show up to the studio and again you got your 15 minutes (if the celebrity panel liked you.). This was way before reality television defined what it means to be famous. Nowadays Fame has become a means to an end. No longer do you need talent to garner notoriety, (Kim Kardashian proves as much). No, the tragic irony here is that this man reaps distinction ONLY because murdered a black child in cold blood.

His renown further amalgamated by a pugilistic travesty involving another black man even while the death of Trayvon bides in our most recent memory. You know this country is going to hell in a handbasket when all you need to gain celebrity is gun down an unarmed black teen. That’s the Big Black Elephant in the room White America ignores. Only in the Jim Crow South could one do such a thing with as much ease and be exonerated with little to no fanfare. I'm appalled but sadly, not surprised.

  3. This is beyond human consumption. I wouldn't watch this disgusting boxing match if it was the only program on the computer. Unbelievable!!! He has no regards for his folks or humanity. Though I could care less what DMX will do with him, I still feel that he shouldn't entertain this lowlife.I feel bad for his folks who have to enduring hearing about such disturbing news. I wouldn't want any money to go into GZ pocket.

    1. Exactly. I want Zimmerman to rot alone, in complete obscurity. Here's hoping this is the last time we hear about this fool (except for when he finally goes to jail for good, because I don't see how much longer he can last on the outside).

  5. Thankfully, there will be no fight:

I am happy to see that Damon Feldman canceled plans to promote a fight between George Killerman and DMX. (Shout out to Black Twitter for a staging a successful campaign to stop this insulting mockery of the memory of a dead young teenager.) This was a stupid and misguided idea from the very start. George Killerman might be infamous, but he is not a celebrity, and he is not someone whose actions we should be celebrating.

To DMX and everyone else who wants a piece of George Killerman, this is not the way to go about it. A staged fight with thousands of people watching and with rules of conduct is not what I had in mind for George..... Just sayin.

    1. I'm elated that George Killerman won't be able to continue his reign of disrespect in the ring and I hope that it will be that way. Even with the promoter, he seemed indifferent but he had to look at his wife and kid for him to reach his decision.

It was said that DMX was sure that he wanted to do it. Don't get me wrong, I share his feelings about GZ,but I was hoping that he would come to his senses of not putting any blood money in his pockets. He may have gotten away with it through the courts but the lord will take care of him his way.

    1. That's sad. I see these matches as no more than greed, torture and harassment against the Martin family.

    2. I agree. Although I read somewhere that someone thinks that the proceeds should go to the Martin family.

    3. Not that I'm trusting this bulletin but looks as if the fight is off again after Trayvon's parents refused the donation (Source: TMZ) I can't blame them.I wouldn't want to take it either. I really don't know how these people can look in this family's face and disregard this family. I don't know what White racist society is trying to do to us but it isn't going to work. We've been through so much that their tactics doesn't false us like it does them.As Mrs. Fulton said about her sons case" God is in control".I believe he is and eventually he will take care of George.
